Congregational Updates

  Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.   This Sunday, April 30th, we'll have worship at 9am .  Choir will rehearse after worship, and we will have  regular Sunday School at church.     There will be a New Member Meeting on Sunday, April 30th,  after worship in the north classroom.   If you are interested in joining or know someone who is, please invite them to this meeting.   WE THANK: Linda Tempel for our Communion Bread, Jon & JoAnn Buss for being our Lectors, and Glen & Bobbi Clausen and Steve & Gwen Wold for Ushering.  In May , Barry & Mary Lou Wold will usher, and Mary Lou will be our Lector,  We need a volunteer to provide Communion Bread.   We are looking for someone to take over as Treasurer from Ellen.   Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.     Maundy Thursday Worship, April 6th, will be at 7pm.   We'll have 4 young people receiving their First Communion: Jacob Andersen, Emmit Christian, Cora Severson, and Croix Severson.        Good Friday worship will be on Friday, April 7th, at 1pm.   This Easter Sunday, April 9th, we'll have worship at 9am .  There will be no Choir/Sunday School after worship, but we will have an Easter Candy hunt for the kids.   MARK YOUR CALENDARS!   The Men in Mission will host their  PORK DINNER  with all the trimmings on Thursday, April 13th, from 4:30-6:30pm.  Freewill offering for our sister city (Amory, Mississipi).  Takeouts will be available.   In April Linda Tempel has volunteered to bring Communion Bread, and Jon & JoAnn Buss ...

  Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.   NOTE:  LUTHER POINT FAMILY WEEKEND IS CANCELED  DUE TO A LACK OF INTEREST. Thanks to the two couples that responded.   This Palm Sunday, April 2nd, we'll have BRUNCH after the 9am worship .  Sunday School families, and confirmation will serve a breakfast after worship with egg bakes and pancakes for a campership fundraiser.    Diane Amans will lead a short Sunday School activity in the Fellowship Hall.  Education Committee will have a short meeting after the brunch in the Fellowship Hall.   Maundy Thursday Worship will be at 7pm on April 6th.   At 6pm that evening our First Communion recipients and their families/guests will meet for a sample Seder Meal.    Good Friday worship, Friday, April 7th, will be at 1pm.   Easter Worship will be ...
