Dear Church Family,
Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our
shared ministry of First Lutheran.
Maundy Thursday
Worship, April 6th, will be at 7pm.
We'll have 4 young
people receiving their First Communion: Jacob Andersen, Emmit Christian, Cora
Severson, and Croix Severson.
Good Friday worship
will be on Friday, April 7th, at 1pm.
This Easter Sunday,
April 9th, we'll have worship at 9am. There will be no Choir/Sunday School after worship, but
we will have an Easter Candy hunt for the kids.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Men in Mission
will host their PORK DINNER with all the trimmings on Thursday,
April 13th, from 4:30-6:30pm. Freewill offering for our sister city
(Amory, Mississipi). Takeouts will be available.
In April Linda Tempel
has volunteered to bring Communion Bread, and Jon & JoAnn Buss will be
Lectors.
We still need
volunteers to Usher. Please contact
the Church Office if you can help.
We are looking for
someone to take over as Treasurer from Ellen. (THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE
ELLEN!!!) If you are
interested, please let the office know.

LADIES!
The Annual Spring
Salad Luncheon will be held on
Saturday, April 15th, at Balsam Lutheran Church, Amery.
Registration begins at
10am, the program starts at 10:30. Kali Kocmoud will speak on "Plants,
Butterflies, Caterpillars Oh My".
The Apple River
Conference Meeting "Spring
into Life" will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, at Joy Lutheran Church,
Centuria ($15 fee).
Registration (due by
April 14th) at 8am; program begins at 9am. Gaye Lindfors will be the guest
speaker, with music by Pastor Lori Peper and Jim Hougdahl.
There will be a New
Member Meeting on Sunday, April 23rd, after worship in the north classroom.
If you are interested
in joining or know someone who is, please invite them to this meeting.
