 Dear Church Family, 


Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

 

This Sunday, April 16th, we'll have worship at 9am.  Choir will rehearse after worship, and we will have regular Sunday School at church. (No bowling)

 

In April Linda Tempel has volunteered to bring Communion Bread, and Jon & JoAnn Buss will be Lectors. Glen & Bobbi Clausen and Steve & Gwen Wold are Ushering.

 

ATTENTION YOUTH: Wednesday, April 19th:  We'll have Confirmation & Pizza here at church at 6pm, then at 7pm we need drivers to take the kids to the Middle School for a Mega Mighty Mighty game.  Parents can pick up the kids at the Middle School at 8pm.  

 

We are looking for someone to take over as Treasurer from Ellen. (THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE ELLEN!!!)  If you are interested, please let the office know.  

 

ATTENTION WELCA LADIES!  

The Annual Spring Salad Luncheon will be held on Saturday, April 15th, at Balsam Lutheran Church, Amery.  

Registration begins at 10am, the program starts at 10:30. Kali Kocmoud will speak on "Plants, Butterflies, Caterpillars Oh My". 

 

The Apple River Conference Meeting "Spring into Life" will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, at Joy Lutheran Church, Centuria ($15 fee). 

Registration (due by April 14th) at 8am; program begins at 9am. Gaye Lindfors will be the guest speaker, with music by Pastor Lori Peper and Jim Hougdahl.

 

There will be a New Member Meeting on Sunday, April 23rd, after worship in the north classroom.  

If you are interested in joining or know someone who is, please invite them to this meeting.

 

A former member of FLC is looking for a place or a room to rent when she moves back to Amery.  If you know of any place, please call the Church Office.

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick.   Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
