 Dear Church Family, 


Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

 

This Sunday, April 23rd, we'll have worship at 9am.  Choir will rehearse after worship, and we will have regular Sunday School at church.  

 

There will be a New Member Meeting on Sunday, April 23rd, after worship in the north classroom. 

If you are interested in joining or know someone who is, please invite them to this meeting.

 

In April Linda Tempel has volunteered to bring Communion Bread, and Jon & JoAnn Buss will be Lectors. Glen & Bobbi Clausen and Steve & Gwen Wold are Ushering.

 

We are looking for someone to take over as Treasurer from Ellen. (THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE, ELLEN!!!)  

If you are interested, please let the office know.  

 

ATTENTION WELCA LADIES!   The Apple River Conference Meeting "Spring into Life" will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, at Joy Lutheran Church, Centuria ($15 fee). Registration (due by April 14th) at 8am; program begins at 9am. Gaye Lindfors will be the guest speaker, with music by Pastor Lori Peper and Jim Hougdahl.

 

HEADS UP! COMING SOON: A Salvation Army Shower! Through our Church in Society Committee, we'll be collecting sheets, blankets, and other items for the shelter in Barron.  Watch our weekly email for more information on what's needed.  Thanks in advance for your help!

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick.   Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
