Dear Church Family,

Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

Our worship service on CHRIST THE KING Sunday, November 20th, will be at 9am.  Advent begins next Sunday, Nov. 27th.

Being that it is hunting season, as we pray for our hunter's safety, you & your kids can wear orange or camo to worship these next 2 Sundays.

If you are not able to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery.org, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.

Sunday School kids will meet after worship to practice for the Christmas Program, scheduled for December 18th..

We invite anyone who is interested to Choir Practice in our balcony after worship.

In November: Gerri Bieniasz-Smith will serve as our Lector, and Doug & Bev Gunderson will be our Ushers

Glen & Bobbi Clausen are providing Communion Bread this month.

In December: Marlin & Judy Swanson will Usher. We need volunteers to Lector and provide Communion Bread.

We need volunteers to serve treats after worship on Sundays in December.   Please email or call the office for more details.

The community THANKSGIVING EVE worship service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd, at 7pm. Please join us.

Please join us at our Thursday morning Bible Study at 8am.

We are getting quite a collection of LOST AND FOUND coats.  Please check them out in the narthex!

CIRCLE OF LOVE WREATHS is again sponsoring children through the Amery Secret Santa program for the upcoming Christmas season.  Check out their display in the narthex!  If you are interested, grab a gift tag, attach it to the gift you purchase and return it by December 11th.  Thank you for your generosity!

Northwoods Homeless Shelter Chili Feed: Free-will, Dine in or Take Out.  Tomorrow 4:30-6:30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church

THANK YOU!  Northwoods Homeless Shelters, Inc. would like to thank you for your support of our November 19th Chili Feed. Your generous donation of $100 helped defray the cost of our annual event. This fundraiser will provide funding to keep our homeless shelters running efficiently, thus meeting the needs of families in crisis in our county. In addition to providing shelter, our program provides guidance to promote independent living. We are so grateful for your support! With your help, we are able to continue serving the homeless population in Polk County. Thanks again for helping to make our fundraiser a success!  Sincerely, Virginia Ormsby
