 Dear Church Family, 

Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

Our prayers are with Kris Arneson, Gwen & Rick Johannsen, Vicki, Vonnie, Duane and their families at the death of Dr. Orrin Arneson.  

Prayers also for Kay Erickson and Mick & Les Larsen and their families at the death of their brother-in-law, Bob Tews.

 

This Sunday, May 28th, we'll have PENTECOST worship at 9am, and honor Memorial Day.  

Thank you to Barry & Mary Lou Wold for ushering and lectoring, and to Linda Tempel for providing Communion Bread.

In June Jim & Linda Kuchenmeister are our Ushers and Lectors, and are providing Communion Bread.

BACKPACK BASH! A fundraiser for the Salvation Army Backpack Program will be held on June 9th from 4-8pm at the Amery Fire Hall.  They are looking for donations of silent auction baskets, and will accept cash gifts.  You can drop them off at A Cut Above by Friday, June 2nd, or you can bring them to the event by 4pm on June 9th.  All donations are gratefully accepted.  Each backpack costs $10 to fill (includes meal entrees, breakfast items, snacks, and a milk coupon.  This program supported more than 360 families in Polk County each week.  Questions? A Salvation Army Shower! Through our Church in Society Committee, we'll be collecting sheets, blankets, and other items for the shelter in Barron.  More information is available in our church entry next to the umbrella tree.

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith,   We hope this email finds you well. February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick.   Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
