 Dear Church Family, 

 

Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

 

This Sunday, May 21st, we'll have worship at 9am.  We'll honor our graduates and new members!  After church we'll have a graduation reception.

 

WE WELCOME these new members to our Church Family: Chad Kinzer and his wife Andrea Mathieu, daughters Jenavieve & Abbie Kinzer and son Nicholas Bedard; Carolyn Mertz; and Nick & Julia White and their daughters, Aurora and Estelle. 

 

WE HONOR OUR GRADUATES on this milestone: Nicholas Bedard, Wyatt Christian, Ethan Clark, Myles Curtis, Cole Madsen, Carter Nielsen, Logan Osero, and Osten Osero.

 

In May, Barry & Mary Lou Wold are our ushers, and Mary Lou is our Lector. Linda Tempel is providing Communion Bread.

BACKPACK BASH! A fundraiser for the Salvation Army Backpack Program will be held on June 9th from 4-8pm at the Amery Fire Hall.  They are looking for donations of silent auction baskets, and will accept cash gifts.  You can drop them off at A Cut Above by Friday, June 2nd, or you can bring them to the event by 4pm on June 9th.  All donations are gratefully accepted.  Each backpack costs $10 to fill (includes meal entrees, breakfast items, snacks, and a milk coupon.  This program supported more than 360 families in Polk County each week.  Questions? A Salvation Army Shower! Through our Church in Society Committee, we'll be collecting sheets, blankets, and other items for the shelter in Barron.  More information is available in our church entry next to the umbrella tree.
