 Dear Church Family, 


Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

NOTE: LUTHER POINT FAMILY WEEKEND IS CANCELED DUE TO A LACK OF INTEREST. Thanks for the two couples that responded.

 

This Sunday, March 26th, we'll worship at 9am.  

Sunday School and Confirmation will be watching a movie in the lower youth room from 10am to 11:40, with popcorn and lemonade.

 

Lent Worship is on Wednesday at 7pm.  Bible Study and Lenten supper will be at 6pm (Chicken/Wild Rice and Tomato with grilled cheese), Our youth serving again. Confirmation Families can let us know if they are bringing salad or dessert. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH EVENT: Tomorrow morning at Our Savior's at 7am : Fill your Belly & Fill your Soul- free breakfast. Rides back to school

 

During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  

We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.

This study will be on Monday at the Tac Two, 6pm; Wednesday night at 6pm; Thursday morning at 8am.  

Please email if you want a book and what day you want to participate.  You DO NOT have to read the book to be a part of the study.

 In March, Laura Sjogren is our Lector, Al & Diane Amans are our Ushers, and Gwen & Steve Wold are providing Communion Bread.  Thanks, friends!


In April Linda Tempel has volunteered to bring Communion Bread.  We need a volunteer to be Lector and volunteers to be Ushers.  Please contact the Church Office if you can help.

FIRST COMMUNION CLASS for kids of any age, Saturday, April 1st, from 9-11am. WE HOPE ONE PARENT CAN BE THERE FOR THE CLASS.   First Communion will be Maundy Thursday, April 6, with a supper at 6pm (for the First Communion kids and their families) and the service will be at 7pm. Please let the office know if your child wants to be a part of this.

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick.
