 Dear Church Family, 


Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

We will worship at 9am on Sunday, January 29th.  Sunday School will be at 10am.  

If you are not able to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery.org, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook. 

We thank Elaine Meyer for being our Lector and providing Communion Bread, and Larry & Julie Riemenschneider for Ushering.  
Altar Committee for this month includes Glen & Bobbi Clausen, Trudy Mattison, and Del & Collette Earley-Schalz. 

 

WORSHIP/LIFE COMMITTEE MEETING will be on Tuesday at 9am. Please join us

 

In February Julie Riemenschneider will be our Lector, Larry & Julie Riemenschneider will provide Communion Bread, and Glen & Bobbi Clausen will usher. 

 

Prayers for Andrew Larsen, recovering from surgery.  He LOVES cards, so if you'd like to send him greetings, here is his address: 10633 Kel Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55437.

We are still looking for some more WORK GROUP LEADERS to help call our members when needs arise.  Would you be willing to help? Please let Karen know.  Thank you!

2022 Giving Statements and 2023 Envelopes are now in the church narthex.  (More people are choosing not to use envelopes, but if you want one and there isn't a packet there for you, please contact our office). 

LOST: We found cash on the floor by the coat racks earlier this month after church.  If you lost it, you can claim it in the church office if you can describe it.

CHURCH IN SOCIETY is collecting the following items for the Amery Intermediate School:  new or used leggings/joggers and sweat pants (NOT TIGHTS), youth size 8 to small adults…for both boys and girls.

Are you interested in being a delegate to the Luther Point Annual Meeting? If so, please let the office know.  Sunday, February 19th, 2pm in the dining hall at the camp.

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
