Dear Church Family,
Thank you for your
continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of
First Lutheran.
The community
THANKSGIVING EVE worship service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church
tonight, on Wednesday, Nov. 23rd, at 7pm. Please join us.
Our worship service on
the FIRST SUNDAY IN ADVENT, November 27th, will be at 9am.
Being that it is
hunting season, as we pray for our hunter's safety, you & your kids can
wear orange or camo to worship on Sunday.
If you are not able to
worship in person, you can join us online on our
webpage: flcamery.org, or on First Lutheran Amery on
Youtube or Facebook.
Sunday School kids
will meet after worship to practice for the Christmas Program, scheduled for December 18th.
We invite anyone who
is interested to Choir Practice in our balcony after worship.
Next Wednesday,
Nov.30, we are having a free spaghetti supper for the church family,
especially young families.
We want kids, parents,
confirmands to join us.
Men and Mission are
serving the supper. THANKS!!!
They will start
serving a bit after 5pm, until 6pm.
At 5pm, Handbells will
practice. At 6pm, the younger kids will have Sunday School Christmas
Program Practice
and the Confirmands
and Adults can help decorate for Christmas.

Wednesday, Dec. 14th,
6pm, Jon Sunde Concert, Freewill Offering.
“J.E. Sunde is one of
the greatest indie-folk songwriters around.” –Daytrotter
Jon is an Amery native
(son of Becky & Joel).
We are hoping to have
church attenders and non church attenders at this concert.
Our hope is that more
and more people will feel welcome to be at our wonderful church.

In December: Marlin & Judy Swanson will Usher and
Laura Sjogren will Lector. We need a volunteer to provide Communion Bread.
Please join us at
our Thursday morning Bible Study at 8am, but not
tomorrow.
We are getting quite a
collection of LOST AND FOUND coats. Please check them out in
the narthex!
CIRCLE OF LOVE WREATHS is again sponsoring children through the
Amery Secret Santa program for the upcoming Christmas season. Check out
their display in the narthex! If you are interested, grab a gift tag,
attach it to the gift you purchase and return it by December 11th.

NEEDED: Wapo is looking for Servers (help fill
the serving lines, serve punch and other items) and Waiters (help to clear
tables) for their annual Dinner Theater. Volunteers get to see the theater
production and can partake in all courses of the meal for free. Bonus:
volunteers get to work with Liz a little bit, too!) Please call the
Church Office and we'll let Liz know you can help.
