 Dear Church Family,


Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

Sunday, October 30th, worship will be at 9am.  It will be Confirmation Sunday for these young people: Ruby Christian, William Clark, Abbie Kinzer, Emily Peck, Reagan Thompson-Ziemer, and Jenna Van Someren.  Please pray blessings for them and their families as this milestone approaches. We'll have cake in the fellowship hall after our worship service.  We invite anyone who is interested to Choir Practice in our balcony after worship.

 

Sunday after worship the Sunday School kids will meet in the fellowship halls to carve pumpkins OR use Sharpee markers.  We ask the kids to wear clothing that can get dirty, and their parents to be there with their kids.

We thank Lectors and Ushers Jim & Linda Kuchenmeister for serving in October. 

Looking ahead to November: Gerri Bieniasz-Smith will serve as our Lector, and Doug & Bev Gunderson will be our Ushers.  
We still need a volunteer to provide Communion Bread in November.

We need volunteers to serve treats after worship for all of the Sundays in November.   Please email or call the office for more details. 

DISASTER RESPONSE:  There are so many disasters all around the world.  If you want to give a general gift to First Lutheran we will pass it on to the ELCA's DISASTER RESPONSE.  If you want to give to a specific need, please send it directly to the ELCA through this link: Lutheran Disaster Response

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick. Update: 2/3/2023

  Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
