Update: 10/21/2022

 Dear Church Family,

 

Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

 

Our worship service on Sunday, October 23rd, will be at 9am. Sunday School kids will meet after worship.

 

We invite anyone who is interested to Choir Practice in our balcony after worship.

 

If you are not able to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery.org, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook. 

 

Sunday, October 30th, worship will be at 9am.  It will be Confirmation Sunday for these young people: Ruby Christian, William Clark, Abbie Kinzer, Emily Peck, Reagan Thompson-Ziemer, and Jenna Van Someren.  Please pray blessings for them and their families as this milestone approaches. We'll have cake in the fellowship hall after our worship service.

 

October Lectors and Ushers are Jim & Linda Kuchenmeister.  Barry & Mary Lou Wold will sub for them on Oct. 23rd.

 

Looking ahead to November: Gerri Bieniasz-Smith will serve as our Lector, and Doug & Bev Gunderson will be our Ushers. We still need a volunteer to provide Communion Bread.

 

We need volunteers to serve treats after worship on Sunday, October 23rd, and all of the Sundays in November.   Please email or call the office for more details.

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick.   Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
