Update: March 4th 2022

 

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith,


We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  
Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

OUR PRAYERS are with Ellie Palmberg and family at the death of her daughter, Diane. 

We will worship this Sunday, March 6th, at 9am. Sunday School & Confirmation will follow worship at 10am.  
 

Thank God Covid numbers are going down, but if you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook. 

 

WE PLAN TO HAVE SUNDAY COFFEE AFTER WORSHIP IN MARCH. The first two Sundays will be served by Quarter Moon Acres. Please give generously to support their good work.  We are looking for volunteers to bring treats and to help serve and clean up for the other Sundays.  Please let us know if you would be willing to help: March 20 and 27.  Thanks!  


IN MARCH: Larry & Julie Riemenschneider are providing Communion Bread and will be our Ushers.  Jeri Peck will be our Lector.

FAMILY BINGO & LENTEN SUPPERS begin on Wednesday, March 9th, at 6pm, followed by Worship at 7pm.  Confirmation & Hi League kids will serve the first supper. We will have Wild Rice Chicken Soup and Chili.  Luciana Aizpurua, Jenna Van Someren, and Abbie Bohatta/Ruby Christian will bring salads, and Kylie Hansen, Zach Osero, Macie Boe, and Weston Facchinni will bring desserts.

 

LENTEN WORSHIP is on WEDNESDAY, March 9th, at 7pm. Confirmation kids are required to be at worship with their families on Wednesdays and Sundays, along with Sunday School.

February 4th Update

  Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith, We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. We will worship this Sunday, February 6th, at 9am.   Sunday School/Confirmation will be from 10-10:45.  We are having Open Gym at the INTERMEDIATE School for our church families from 12:30-1:30 (we have the gym to ourselves for this hour!).  You are welcome to stay until 3:30 if you'd like as the gym is open to the community until then!  Please invite friends to all of our activities!   Covid and vaccine-breakthrough cases are continuing to hit members of our congregation.  If you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.  Each week we hear of more of our dear members being sick. Update: 2/3/2023

  Dear Church Family,  Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran. During Lent, we will be having a book/Bible study "Seven Words" by Susan Robb.  We hope to have multiple meeting times.  If you want a book ($10), please let the office know.
