Update: March 18, 2022

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Faith,

We hope this email finds you well. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your continual prayers, support, and financial support of our shared ministry of First Lutheran.

We will worship this Sunday, March 20th, at 9am. There will not be Sunday School or Confirmation due to the school district's Spring Break.

We thank God that Covid numbers are going down, but if you do not want to worship in person, you can join us online (Sundays) on our webpage: flcamery, or on First Lutheran Amery on Youtube or Facebook.

WE PLAN TO HAVE SUNDAY COFFEE AFTER WORSHIP IN MARCH.   We are looking for volunteers to bring treats and to help serve and clean up for Sundays in April.  (Palm Sunday will have the youth serving). Please let us know if you would be willing to help!  We have volunteers to serve on March 20 and 27 (thanks to Del & Collette)!

FAMILY BINGO & LENTEN SUPPERS continue on Wednesday, March 23rd, at 6pm, followed by Worship at 7pm.  Our Church Council will serve the supper. All proceeds will go to the ELCA Disaster Relief effort for Ukraine.

LENTEN WORSHIP is on WEDNESDAY, March 23rd, at 7pm. Just a reminder that Confirmation kids are required to be at worship with their families on Wednesdays and Sundays, along with Sunday School.

HELP: We need some left over containers in our church kitchen. (Mid size yogurt containers to gallon size would be great.  Thanks!

Sunday School will be at the Amery Middle School's Gym after worship 10:30-12:30 on March 27. Please bring the whole family and invite friends.

LOOKING AHEAD TO APRIL: FIRST COMMUNION class is offered to our youth on Saturday, April 9, from 9-10:30am.  (Parents and kids can determine the age for their kids to receive Holy Communion.) These young people and their families will have a Seder Meal on Maundy Thursday, April 14th, at 6pm, and will receive their First Communion that evening at our 7pm worship service.

PRAYERS for the Ukrainian people.  If you would like to make a contribution to the relief effort, you can write a check to First Lutheran, on the Memo line designate it for the ELCA Disaster Response in Ukraine, and we'll send a check from church.
