Congregational Updates

  SUNDAY is the First Sunday in Advent.  We'll begin an Advent Bible Study that morning after worship in the north classroom.  All are welcome! SUNDAY SCHOOL  will NOT meet on Sunday, Nov. 28th.   We will have a masked choir practice on Sunday. We will sing on the following Sunday when our bishop will preaching here.  All are welcome to be a part of the choir.   The Evangelism Committee  has set up the  Amery Secret Santa Christmas tree  in the narthex area, and decorated it with tags for our Christmas families. (This is for needy families in our area.) Please take a tag or two, purchase the items, and return the gifts  UNWRAPPED   by Sunday, December 12th, for distribution to the schools.    JIM'S BARNYARD  ornaments are also on a tree in the narthex (purchase chicks, goats, pigs, etc.).  Choose an ornament, write a check to First Lutheran Church with ELCA Good Gifts in the memo line....
